Freeland says ball in E.U.’s court as future of CETA remains uncertain

Minister of International Trade Chrystia Freeland told reporters Monday that the decision last week to end discussions with the European Union over the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) “had the desired results,” as E.U. representatives have now “publicly accepted that Canada’s job is done.”
