Internet code will indirectly tackle poor sales practices, CRTC chairman says

CRTC chairman Ian Scott said the new internet code will address many of the underlying issues that have resulted in complaints about the industry’s poor sales practices, which is outside the mandate of the code and its administrator, the Commission for Complaints for Telecom-television Services (CCTS).

CTI project funding rolling out again

The last two months have seen a glut of project funding announced under the Connect to Innovate (CTI) program, with $29 million being funneled to 13 projects: three in New Brunswick; two each in Prince Edward Island, Ontario, and British Columbia; and one each in Alberta and Nova Scotia.
