The CRTC is making headway in improving the telecommunications landscape, a conference in western Canada was told. Claire Anderson, commissioner for British Columbia and the Yukon, was a featured speaker at the British Columbia Broadband Association meeting Tuesday.

Rogers releases Q1 results, announces 10-year deal with Comcast 

Following the release of its first quarter results of 2024, Rogers Communications Inc. announced it has signed a 10-year agreement with Comcast Corp. to bring the American media company’s Xfinity broadband, smart home, and entertainment products to Canada.

Irekvist promotes Ericsson’s efforts to reach net-zero emissions

Updated: Quebecor scales back Manitoba expansion after CRTC access rate decision

Bell appeal case against CRTC fibre access decision underway

BCE Inc.’s appeal against the CRTC’s November decision to require the company to allow competitors wholesale aggregated access to its fibre network is underway in the Federal Court. The telecom’s official notice of appeal was filed April 8.
