Making VoIP LD even cheaper

Arcsoft Inc., a Richmond Hill ON-based VoIP call recording and productivity software developer, has introduced a new product that brings wireless local access dialing functionality to the VoIP world. Making a long distance call with a cell phone can be an expensive proposition and local access numbers have been used to minimize some of the cost. Now that same concept can live in the VoIP space through the VONaLink DialBridge. The software runs on a desktop or laptop PC with either of the following operating systems: Windows Vista, XP Pro, 2003 and 2000. The software cost US$29 and is available at http://www.vonalink.com/.

Telecom Decision 2007-36, issued on May 25, allows ILECs to use a price range within a range and comes less than a month after the new price cap regime (Price Cap 3) was released in Telecom Decision 2007-27.

Municipal networks discussion evolving, multi-purpose networks become table stakes

Municipal wireless networks have been a hot topic of discussion over the last few years ever since Philadelphia announced an initiative to blanket the city with a broadband wireless network.
